Mini Bio- Beck Is On His Grind

Devon Beck, known as “Beck” when it comes to his music was born and raised on the East Coast. Currently residing in Salisbury Maryland his main focus is to get his music out there- locally and even globally. With inspiration from famous artists like Jay Z, Nas, AZ, Kanye, Sean Combs and more he has developed his own sound- a flow that is very unique; it’s definitely HIP HOP with a raspy poetic feel but don’t get it twisted- it progresses in intensity depending on the message. Beck is currently working hard to release his second album (independent), “Audio Crack: The Hits”; which is the first volume of three- consisting of fifteen tracks such as “Dreams” and “Never Back Down”. The other volumes are, “Audio Crack: The Addiction” and “Audio Crack: Intervention” which will be released in yearly intervals. He’s been in the studio for some time now and is so anxious to promote this album. Beck and his team are also preparing several promotional activities such as a Preview Concert, club appearances, and much more.

Consistently improving his craft, Beck continuously works on his music- whether it’s writing new material, working hard in the studio, performing live on stage, or delivering motivational speeches to reach out to the youth- Beck is doing it all! His goal is make music his life long career, create good music, and inspire others. Kyonte, a musician from Washington DC states,

“Beck is my favorite lyricist- he has that “it quality” that won’t just produce a one hit wonder; he will have longevity in this field making hit after hit- he’s definitely an investment.”

Shelton Hawkins who was a part of First String Records and is currently an aspiring clothing designer says,

“Out of all the local artists Beck stands out because he has style, personality, good work ethic, and crazy rhymes!”

Support like this gives Beck so much drive to make his mark in the industry and to continue to strive to do hip hop like it’s never been done before!

His debut album, “Beck is da Future” was originally released in 2007. Beck’s management team has decided to have the album re-released. It will be available to purchase online this summer. BECK FANS! Beck is back and is scheduled to release his second album, “Audio Crack: The Hits” this fall; the first of three volumes. The CD will be released digitally as well. He is pleased to announce his comeback since his last album, “Beck is da Future” which was his debut. This album will be released again this summer, for all those who didn’t cop it.
